Curriculum
This course discusses societal changes concerning the development of plantations in Indonesia. The course mainly focuses on how sociological approaches identify socio-economic conditions and explain the impact of plantation development on plantation communities in Indonesia. The course will also discuss stratification in plantation communities, including plantation community conflicts in land use and land conflicts around plantation communities.
