The Master's Program in Public Administration (MIAP) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Sumatera Utara (FISIP USU) successfully held an Orientation and Briefing for New Students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Under the theme “Building Academic Integrity, Research Culture, Public Leadership, and Commitment,” the event, held at the FISIP USU Leadership Room, marked an important first step in welcoming and guiding students as they begin their master's studies.

The event began with registration and a warm welcome for the new students as members of the FISIP USU Master's Program in Public Administration community, followed by an opening session, prayer, and remarks by the Head of the Study Program, Dra. Dara Aisyah, M.Si., Ph.D. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of fostering a sense of belonging, discipline, integrity, and commitment to completing the study program.

The event continued with remarks from the Dean of FISIP USU, who expressed the faculty's expectations for new students to continuously develop a scholarly culture, leadership, and professionalism, while making meaningful contributions to society and government.

In addition to introducing the curriculum and study roadmap, the orientation featured a comprehensive presentation on the Research, Thesis, and Publication Roadmap. The session introduced the expertise of faculty members and strategic issues in the field of public administration.

The event was conducted interactively through a dialogue session between students and lecturers. It concluded with a reaffirmation of the new students' academic commitment to maintaining integrity and completing their studies on time, followed by a group photo session.
