The Undergraduate Program in Communication Science of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully organized a workshop entitled “Public Speaking, Content Creator, and Event Management” on Friday, August 21, 2026. Held at the FISIP USU Theater Room, the event aimed to equip participants with practical skills in public communication, creative content production, and professional event management in the digital era.

The workshop featured Kevin Ricardo, S.I.Kom., a professional Master of Ceremonies (MC) and experienced content creator, as the main speaker. Under the theme “Speak with Confidence, Create with Purpose,” Kevin shared comprehensive strategies on building confidence when speaking in public, developing meaningful and useful content ideas, and mastering operational management to ensure events are organized effectively and leave a lasting impression.

The interactive workshop received enthusiastic participation from attendees. Through education and hands-on training, students and young people are expected to continue developing their potential, think creatively, and adapt professionally to address the challenges of the creative industry and the future workplace.
