Lecturers and academicians of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the Universitas Sumatera Utara participated in the Socialization of the Zone of Integrity for Corruption-Free Areas (ZI-WBK) on Monday, (26/02/2014) held in the Multipurpose Hall of FISIP USU. This activity was opened by the Dean of FISIP, Dr. Hatta Ridho, S.Sos., MSP, who conveyed the importance of ZI-WBK in strengthening the institutional foundation of the faculty as an entity free from corruption and with high integrity. The resource persons present are the Head of Bureaucratic Reform of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Nurman Achmad S.Sos., M.Soc.Sc. and Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Nursing USU, Cholina Trisa Siregar S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.KMB then delivered the material comprehensively. They explained the concept of ZI WBK, implementation steps, and the positive impact that will be felt by the entire academic community if ZI WBK is successfully realized.
The event continued with a question and answer session, where participants could ask questions, share experiences, and convey ideas to support the implementation of ZI-WBK in the faculty. This interactive discussion proves that the academic community is highly aware of fighting corruption and strengthening integrity. The Dean of FISIP USU also conveyed the faculty's commitment to realizing ZI WBK by actively involving all parties. He emphasized that the journey towards ZI WBK is not an easy task, but with hard work, collaboration, and strong commitment, this faculty can achieve it.
