As one of the concrete steps in the framework of the development of the Integrity Zone Towards a Region Free from Corruption (ZI-WBK), all Education Personnel, together with the Leadership of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science of the University of North Sumatra carried out the signing of the Integrity Pact which was attended by all Education Personnel and Leaders of FISIP USU, located in the Courtyard of the Dean's Building FISIP USU on Wednesday, (06/03/2024).
The activity began with a prayer, then continued with a direction by the Dean of FISIP USU, Dr. Hatta Ridho, S.Sos., MSP. In his direction, the Dean of FISIP USU advised all education personnel to consistently implement Integrity Values in providing services to stakeholders and optimizing their role in the success of ZI-WBK development. After the direction from the Dean of FISIP USU, the activity continued with the signing of the Integrity Pact led by Elvi Sumanti, ST., M.Hum as Head of Administration, and continued with the signing by the Head of Subdivision and Education Personnel.
Zone of Integrity (ZI) is a predicate given to government agencies whose leaders and staff are committed to realizing a Region Free from Corruption (WBK) through bureaucratic reform, especially in preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services. The development of the Integrity Zone is one of the efforts made by the government in implementing the bureaucratic reform program under Presidential Regulation Number 81 of 2010 concerning the Grand Design of Bureaucratic Reform 2010-2025. Bureaucratic reform targets achieving three main results: increased organizational capacity and accountability, a clean and free government from KKN, and improved public services. So to support the acceleration of achieving these target results, it is hoped that all work units can construct an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area.
