Development of the Integrity Zone by Mohammad Ali Akbar as Secretary II of Bureaucratic Reform at the Directorate General of Higher Education. In his opening, the Chairperson of the USU ZI Team said that USU continues to be committed to achieving the title of Integrity Zone, and one of the proofs is by making the Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) the first Work Unit at USU to undergo the Integrity Zone.

Zone of Integrity (ZI) is a predicate given to government agencies whose leaders and staff are committed to realizing a Region Free from Corruption (WBK) through bureaucratic reform, especially in terms of preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services.

The development of the Integrity Zone is one of the efforts made by the government in implementing the bureaucratic reform program following Presidential Regulation Number 81 of 2010 concerning the Grand Design of Bureaucratic Reform 2010-2025. Bureaucratic reform targets achieving three main results: increased organizational capacity and accountability, a clean and free government from KKN, and improved public services. So, to support the acceleration of achieving these target results, it is hoped that all work units can construct an Integrity Zone toward a Corruption-Free Area.
