The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FISIP USU), held the distribution of Student Identity Cards (KTM) for new students of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. The event, centered at the FISIP USU Courtyard, was carried out in an orderly manner and received an enthusiastic response from the new students. The activity was fully sponsored by Bank BTN, which serves as the university's official banking partner in facilitating financial services and campus administrative needs.

In addition to functioning as an official identity card for members of the academic community, the smart card-based KTM resulting from the collaboration with Bank BTN also serves a dual function as an ATM card and student savings card. During the distribution, representatives from Bank BTN were also present to provide information on the convenience of digital transactions and banking services that students can utilize throughout their studies at FISIP USU.
