In November 2025, Warjio, Ph.D., undertook a strategic working visit to Europe as part of education and cultural diplomacy efforts. On this occasion, he accepted a special invitation from UNESCO as a keynote speaker at the international Sustainable Development for Education program in Hannover, Germany. His participation served as an important moment to reaffirm Indonesia's commitment to integrating sustainability values and local wisdom into the pillars of modern education at the global level.
In his presentation before international delegates, he emphasized the importance of cross-country collaboration and the utilization of scientific and cultural innovations to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He also shared best practices in implementing inclusive and sustainable education programs that have been implemented in Indonesia. This working visit not only strengthened Indonesia's position in the global forum but also expanded strategic partnership networks between the Indonesian Government and UNESCO in designing future curricula that are more adaptive and environmentally conscious.
