On September 30, 2026, the Directorate of Scientific Writing, Publication, and Publishing (DITP3I), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), officially launched the 2026 SINTA Synchronization Socialization Roadshow targeting all faculties within the university. This strategic step was taken to facilitate the academic community in understanding the importance of data alignment in the Science and Technology Index (SINTA). Through this direct assistance, lecturers and researchers are expected to update their academic profiles and ensure that all scientific works produced are accurately recorded.

This socialization activity plays an important role in strengthening the accuracy of publication records and the integration of institutional academic performance as a whole. In addition to providing technical guidance on data synchronization mechanisms, the roadshow also provided a discussion forum for academics to address various technical obstacles encountered during the account updating process. By ensuring the alignment of SINTA data of the USU academic community, this activity is expected to contribute to improving USU's ranking and research visibility at the national and international levels.
