In connection with the implementation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation (Permendikbudristek) No. 02 of 2024 concerning SSBOPTN, particularly Article 13 which regulates the provision of tuition fee (UKT) reductions, as further stipulated in the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara No. 1942/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2024 regarding the Provision of Tuition Fee (UKT) Reduction for Final Semester Students of Undergraduate, Applied Undergraduate, and Diploma Three Programs who meet the requirements within Universitas Sumatera Utara, we hereby facilitate the application for UKT reduction for students who meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Undergraduate or Applied Undergraduate students in their 9th semester or above who are taking a maximum of 6 credits (SKS), with one of the courses being the final project/thesis;
  2. Diploma Three students in their 7th semester or above who are taking a maximum of 6 credits (SKS), with one of the courses being the final project/thesis;
  3. Study Plan Card (KRS) has been verified by the academic advisor; and
  4. Submission of the application through the USU Administrative Service System (SILA: https://tiket.usu.ac.id) – under the tuition fee reduction request menu, from August 30 until September 13, 2024.

 

The verification results will be issued along with the refund of UKT to the bank account stated in the application. For students who pay in installments, the reduction will be applied to the second and/or third installment payments.

 

We kindly request that you disseminate this information to all students within the Faculty under your leadership. Thank you for your kind cooperation.
