On March 22, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science held a workshop entitled Strengthening the Capacity of Lecturers to Win Research and Abdimas. The workshop, which was attended by FISIP USU Educators, was opened by the Dean of FISIP USU. In his opening, the Dean expressed his hope that this workshop could help lecturers make research proposals.
Workshop activities were carried out in two sessions with different speakers. The first session was filled by Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.SI, who delivered material on general provisions in community service programs and stages and implementation of community service programs. The second session was filled by Prof. Mohammad Basyuni, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D, who delivered material on tips and tricks for getting funding for research.
This activity was closed with an Iftar event attended by Vice Chancellor II, the Head of BEPP, and the entire academic community of FISIP USU.
