MIND ID, together with INALUM and Danantara Indonesia, officially provided a platform to test the ideas and creativity of young people and members of the press through the MediaMIND 2026 Journalistic Work Competition. Carrying the main theme "From the Earth for National Sovereignty: Exploring Value to Strengthen the Nation", the program is a journalistic work competition as well as a form of appreciation for members of the press, academics, and students. This socialization activity was held on September 3, 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall of FISIP USU.

The event featured Daniel J.P. Hutauruk, Head of the Strategic Services Group of INALUM, and Richard, Corporate Communication of MIND ID, as the main speakers to share in-depth insights into the contribution of the mining industry to national self-reliance. The series of activities was divided into two main sessions, namely Session 1 specifically for students, starting at 09.00 WIB until completion, and Session 2 intended for journalists, starting at 13.00 WIB until completion.

Through this socialization agenda, participants received a comprehensive presentation on the main competition theme, registration requirements and terms, judging criteria, and the competition schedule. Through this activity, INALUM and MIND ID hope to encourage the creation of educational and substantive journalistic works that are able to highlight the importance of industrial sovereignty and mining downstreaming for Indonesia's progress.
