The Social Anthropology Study Program of FISIP USU held a public lecture with the theme “Urban Frontier” on Tuesday (20/02/2024) at the Multipurpose Hall of FISIP USU. The Social Anthropology Study Program, in collaboration with the Ethnographic Researcher Center (ERC) and the Indonesian Anthropology Association (AAI) Pengda Sumatera Utara, invited Prof. Christian Lund from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, as a guest speaker with material entitled “Frontiers of Urban Properties in Medan” at the event.
This activity was attended and opened by the Dean of FISIP USU, Dr. Hatta Ridho, S.Sos., MSP, Head of the Social Anthropology Study Program of FISIP USU Dr. Drs. Irfan, M.Si., Lecturers and Students of the Social Anthropology Study Program, and several students from other Study Programs such as Political Science and Social Welfare Science. This activity was a form of readiness for the Social Anthropology Study Program to realize the World Class University (WCU) program and increase the value of the Main Performance Indicators of Higher Education.
