Another remarkable achievement was recorded by the academic community of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) on the international stage. Muhammad Alvin Prayoga, a 2023 student of the Undergraduate Program in Public Administration of FISIP USU, successfully contributed a gold medal in badminton at the prestigious 25th Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Varsity Carnival 2026. Representing the official Universitas Sumatera Utara contingent, Alvin demonstrated consistent and dedicated performance, successfully overcoming his competitors in the inter-university championship in the ASEAN region.
