On Monday, November 25, 2024, the Doctoral Program in Development Studies at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FISIP USU), held the inauguration ceremony for the Alumni Association of Doctoral Development Studies (IKA DSP) for the 2024–2029 term.

The event, conducted in the FISIP USU Multipurpose Hall, was attended by Dr. Musa Rajekshah, S.Sos., M.Hum, a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), and Sugiat Santoso, S.E., MSP.

Inaugurated by the Dean of FISIP USU, Dr. Hatta Ridho, S.Sos., MSP, the alumni association comprises 42 members. The leadership structure includes Dr. Musa Rajekshah as Chairperson, Dr. Hendra Dermawan Siregar as Executive Chair, Dr. Walid Musthafa Sembiring as Secretary, Dr. Hari Ananda as Treasurer, alongside 17 Vice Chairs and 21 division members.
