To realize the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the Universitas Sumatera Utara and the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication of Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU), as many as 35 students of the Islamic Community Development Study Program will take part in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Program for 1 (one) semester in the Village and Urban Community Development course of the Social Welfare Study Program. Dean of the Faculty of Da'wah and Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU)  Dr. Hasan Sazali, M.Ag and his staff. Welcomed by the Dean of FISIP USU, Dr. Hatta Ridho, S.Sos., MSP, and his staff at the Theatre Room of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, on Tuesday (19/02/2024). 

Furthermore, Dr. Hasan Sazali, M.Ag, hopes that through this activity, students of the Islamic Community Development Study Program can develop themselves by studying welfare science, primarily through the Village and City Community Development course. He also hopes that through this activity, in the future, other collaborations will be built with Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral Study Programs at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara. At the end of the activity, an Implementation Arrangement (IA) related to student exchange was signed. In the future, FISIP USU Welfare Study Program students will attend lectures at the Islamic Community Development Study Program of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication of Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara.
