The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FISIP USU) continues to expand its partnership network in support of improving the quality of education and community service. This commitment was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between FISIP USU and the Dharma Pancasila Foundation and Dharma Wanita Pertiwi Foundation, followed by the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) between the Undergraduate Political Science Study Program of FISIP USU and schools under the auspices of both foundations. As a follow-up to the collaboration, the Undergraduate Political Science Study Program of FISIP USU will organize various community service activities focusing on strengthening the character of the younger generation. The planned programs include providing guidance on leadership for students, as well as strengthening national values and patriotism as part of efforts to develop a young generation with strong character, integrity, and concern for civic and national life.
This collaboration is expected not only to strengthen relations between higher education institutions and educational institutions, but also to create opportunities for the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) through activities that provide direct benefits to society. The partnership represents a strategic step in supporting improvements in the quality of education while expanding the contribution of FISIP USU academics to human resource development from primary and secondary education levels.
Through the signing of the MoA and IA, FISIP USU once again affirms its commitment to continuing to build collaborations with various partners in delivering programs that have a positive impact on society. The synergy between academia and educational institutions is expected to continue to grow as a joint effort to develop a younger generation with leadership qualities, national insight, and readiness to face future challenges.
