The Undergraduate Program in Political Science of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held the "Briefing and Release of Impactful Internship / PKL (Field Work Practice) Students" specifically for students of the 2023 cohort. The event was held face-to-face at the Multipurpose Hall of FISIP USU.

This agenda was designed to provide an in-depth understanding as well as mental and academic readiness for students before directly entering the professional workforce. The main speaker in this briefing session was Mujahid Widian Saragih, S.IP., M.IP, a lecturer in Political Science at FISIP USU, who shared insights and strategic guidance regarding the implementation of PKL. The event was moderated by M. Zubeir Sipahutar, S.IP., M.IP, who is also a lecturer at FISIP USU, allowing the discussion to take place interactively and in a conducive atmosphere.

Through the "Impactful Internship" program, the study program hopes that all Political Science students of the 2023 cohort will not only be able to apply the political theories they have learned during their studies, but also be able to make real contributions and provide constructive solutions at the institutions where they will be assigned. The implementation of this activity reaffirms the commitment of FISIP USU to producing competent, highly competitive graduates who are ready to respond to challenges in the professional era.
